It's time for me to renew my license once again. Someone related to me their personal experience from back in January, how that they were put on a 3 week waiting list to get theirs renewed!! Is this standard now? Do any of you guys know of any Tag Agencies in the OKC Metro that don't have long wait times?

I think 2-3 weeks is standard, you can call and have it scheduled...it's because of the new 'Real ID' thing coming into view. Make sure you bring your birth certificate and ID with you....

There was a thread about this not long ago. IIRC, a couple of folks recommended the tag agency in Jones for walk-in driver's license renewals. You can also do the renewals online via the OK Tax Commission's Web site.

The last i knew you could go online and renew if you didnt want the new Real ID but havent check on it in some time i know that what my daughter did a little over a year ago.

I walked into the Osage County Tag Agents office wit the proper documentation and walked out 20 minutes later with a paper license.
The real ID showed up 10 days later.

Choctaw tag agency. Walk in and be out in less than 30 minutes.

I went to the tag office in stratford, walked out a few minutes later with a paper license and had the new license in my mail box 8 business days later.

I used the tag agency @ NW 122 & MacArthur in OKC, waited about 15 minutes, then was called up & got’er done, abour 2 months ago.

I needed to renew my license last week and I decided to get a real ID while I was there. I walked into the Yale tag agency without calling ahead or an appointment. I had my paperwork in hand fifteen minutes later and the actual license should be here this week.

This in Muskogee County. Easy Peasy
