Wouldn't it be nice for the OSA to help relieve the Community of all their scary, unwanted guns- & give them loving homes???
https://fromthetrenchesworldreport....-at-fort-worth-gun-buyback/304138#more-304138Not sure how the logistics would work out though.
I'm new here- & bet that we've all had similar thoughts on occasion-
but as long as it solves more problems than it causes, it just might be a good thing.

I think I'd be worried about buying something that was stolen or worse.

I've kicked around the idea of a "Gun Library/Range " where you could borrow, try out, exchange guns, ammo, & related items & services. Lots of 'logistics'...but also sometimes wonder about neighborhood exchanges for mostly home-grown/made food, meds, liquor, & other stuff that can be made locally, plus services like electrical, home repair, mechanical, etc..., maybe a neighborhood 'swap-meet' where you could trade for what you need.
Just some more local, word of mouth, personal, DECENTRALIZED ways to do things to bring people back together, save time, & resources.
Maybe I just want to see what REAL 'Capitalism' would look like for once?
In my own backyard.

Off the creek that’s next to the river
I agree, but I also think the world is full of dumb*sses too.
I wonder how many Ft Worth cops went home with “new” guns after this event. :anyone:
Yes, I think a lot of people have gone full r**** in the last few years.

If it all it took was $100, if I was one of the officers I’d have at least 30 extra!

Maybe OSA should do a gun “buyback” deal, im sure there are others that can get a bunch of $100 gift cards or cash together, just have to figure out where to host it lol
Sadly I few of “diehard” gun guys I know are falling into “it’s the guns fault” mentallity, one of them has a nice collection. I’m sure there are others.

That being said I’m offering to buy unwanted working firearms, I can either do Bath and Body Works, Walmart or Starbucks gift cards or cash. I might be able to trade out for “double sided” items if I can find some one brave enough to go to Christys Toybox for me lmao

To be honest, I’m more than a little surprised that folks were allowed to buy guns outside this event, but I’m pleasantly surprised.

It seems like it would be one of those cop/govt things that ”it’s ok for me but not for thee”.

I’m sure some of the cops at the event were ticked, but knew they couldn’t do anything legally about the competition.
