Dang it. I checked my usage, and since Jul 1, my daily KWH has doubled.

I better set more money back for my bill that I get for August. I think its going to hurt.

I’m over here eating a bowl of granola while typing this. If we had embraced the energy efficiency movement of the 70s, we might be paying less to heat and cool our homes and the biggest user of energy commercial construction.

Did you happen to miss that one of the greenest countries in the world is starting their coal fired power plants up because they can't keep up with demand?

Energy efficiency has nothing to do with the energy prices we are seeing today. The issue is the experts in the governments have reduced the available supply of energy to less than the demand. This is a very simple concept.

Energy efficiency has nothing to do with the energy prices we are seeing today. The issue is the experts in the governments have reduced the available supply of energy to less than the demand. This is a very simple concept.

It’s not nearly as black and white as you paint the picture. The greenest country in the world has rejected consuming “cleaner” energy supplied by a narcissist that’s gone to war. There is no doubt that we all need a supply of energy and having some energy independence is a very good thing. Using less is also a very good thing, too. They are not mutually exclusive.
