Never realized it was only good for a few shots. Never tried it but for some reason I just assumed it lasted a bit longer than that. Would be good for hunting situations I guess but certainly not worth it for a range trip and slaying steel or something

Never ever ever ever.. ever, shoot a rifle can wet.

Not ever... ever.

Good way to explode your can.

Only for large bore pistol cans.

Well there ya go. Never knew that either. Guess it's good I didn't try lol
I doubt I ever will. Sounds like extra hassle with minimal benefit.
Running wet is mainly used to get rid of first round pop. It has the added advantage of sounding just a little quieter until it’s all run out.

I like to use Unicorn tears 😭

We used to put a small squirt of insect repellent in our suppressors to displace the oxygen to get rid of the first round pop. Seemed to help, but that is just what I recall and I'm not recommending you use that.

I prefer Mermaid tears personally! Lol. Im leaning toward ultrasound gel. They say it leaves no residue.

Frog Lube.

Used to own a fire arms company.

I still have you tube videos of all my machine gun shoots.

Just search YouTube for baconburn

Not many subscribers but over 100k views of my shoots.

We switched to frog lube and I am not kidding, it makes the shot of a .45 can sound like a .22 with a can. It vapors off as a minty cloud and is super clean.

I have used it as a silencer medium for over 12 years now.

Just FYI
