I am amazed that these companies think they have the right to demand what a client can or cannot do with a product once purchased. My how far we have come (and not in a good way)
Yes, but it's our own damn fault for letting it get this far. The 'You will comply Comrade' has become the mantra for an ever growing number of things in today's America 2.0, and it's only getting worse.

Absolutely. The amount of people cravenly asking government and authoritarians to “tell me what to do and how to live” is quite sobering and sad.

So, how does that fit here? Who's the government or authoritarian?

Ford and some dealers threatened to do something similar with broncos, only they were flat out saying that the customer couldn't sell it for more than customer was paying for it lol.
After the dealerships marked them up thousands of dollars over MSRP because of what they said was supply and demand causing shortages?

Manufacturers or those supporting telling anyone how much they can sell a product for that they already purchased. We do not need price control’s. We need people to votewith their wallets.

as this thread states; people aren't buying those cars to drive them. heck most people buying new cars aren't buying them to drive them.

you can still find c5's in the $10-12k range all day. if you really want a vette and don't already have one, i don't know why anyone would even consider anything else. the new vette isn't even a vette lol.

That’s no lie for the most part. I have two friends with vettes, one 2016 and the other 2019. Neither has 10,000 miles on the odometer.
I’m sure there are exceptions though.
Mine is a 2014. Bought it with 69K last June, 78K currently. Tell them to quit babying their sports cars.
