I've heard a bit from Salatin; my brother reads his books, and he's played a few of Salatin's audiobooks in the car when we've been on trips together. His ideas make a heck of a lot of sense, and he's really good at communicating them.

I’m going to look further into this book. Intrigued @this point
Joel's books are enjoyable reads designed for those who want to be sustainable farmers. But lifestyle is also a great part of the books as well. Faith and family structure. So far we have this one and the latest, Polyface micro. Imo excellent farming advice and a world more of wholesome goodness . We'll buy all his because they are invaluable to a country lifestyle.

So far I've acquired 3, polyface micro and Everything I want to do is illegal . Plus the title above. These books are much to my liking. They are about living, the old days, if you like reading you'll enjoy. If your growing children you'll benefit . If you want to grow food, if you want to travel time, etc etc this author should be in your library.
