Guess I just think it's funny people who seem to think so highly of the 2nd amendment get pissy b/c someone said something that hurt their feelings and want it deleted.

While I too find it funny, it really has nothing to do with this.

What's even funnier is the mental contortions over marijuana legalization.

Some folks just can't keep continuity of logic going.

I can understand why member’s would choose to leave. I’ve taken breaks from the forum a few times myself. Lately, I’ve read number of offensive things on this forum and I called it out on occasion. Why? Because this was a pretty nice place when I joined the forum and I’ve met a number of members in real life that are quite enjoyable to talk with and deal with. I’d like to see it get back to being a friendlier place with less vitriol. At one time it seems like OSA was supposed to be a family oriented place to discuss firearms and related topics. Now, it’s mostly hot topics where anything goes even the most unintelligent and offensive bull spit.

I don’t think it’s necessary to post derogatory or hateful comments about people’s religion, political affiliation, ethnicity, etc… you get the point. Those topics shouldn’t be off limits, but neither should they be disrepectful.

I’ve glad to see @Honey Badger speak up, I don’t think he’s the only one that has similar feelings about this place.

He’s not. A lot of keyboard cowards here that would get their asses kicked if they spouted off the same rhetoric directly to a person. The anonymity of a user name gives some fools courage.

I am an agnostic lapsed Catholic. What really gets to me though is how people will fight over religion. It's not like one Christian faith is evil, one Is good. Arguing over faith is like arguing over what's better, chevy, ford or dodge pickups, they are all good trucks and do the same job. It seems though that when it comes to Christian faiths, people treat different faiths like socialism versus capitalism arguments.
