If you don’t own a Glock, you should not be allowed to own guns.
First Glock19 I owned was called a Gen2 but in ln reality it was first generation 19. I sold that G19 recently. Serial Number **000. Funny thing the Tenifer finish was a dark green and not grey as some other Glocks were. I recently bought a G43X that fits hand nicely and in a real black color. Everyone should own at least one Glock. I fired that Gen2 Glock under water, threw it in sand and mud rubbed it in and it still fired flawlessly. You can't hurt a G19. I can't speak for all the other models though.

Buy A SIG drop off the glock at the police buy back.
Lol. I bought a 228 in 1991 while stationed at Ft Lewis. Hated it. $700 piece of crap. Sold it, bought a glock 31 .357 Sig, better all around. Still have it. No it’s not stock

Personally, I clean every firearm after each use, drives me nuts to put one away dirty. Everything worth having needs tender love and care/maintenance. You wouldn’t buy a new car, drive it for 3 years and never change the oil or filters…

The 357 Sig is a great round and the G31 is a great firearm and easily cared for. I used to have a Sig 229 with both barrels. I still have around 1000 rounds that I am going to list. Only downside to the Sig was the grip and maybe a little heavier. Just couldn't bring myself to like it.

Some people do buy a new car and never change the oil or filters. They trade them in when the engine starts knockin'.
