Pulled some 41mag bullets that a member gave me. Some of the boxes had load data on it but this box was unmarked so I’m definitely pulling them all. I think it’s h110 but not certain since I don’t use that powder.

Also need a better way to pull bullets that doesn’t damage the bullet. My Hornady hammer type has a difficult time… some of these were crimped pretty heavy. I only pulled 17 before I got tired of doing it. 6 of the cases had cracks so they pulled easily. The other 11 took awhile. Thought about getting a dedicated press for pulling bullets. Something I’m not going to mount to my workbench, seems like there’s a lot of force involved on press type pullers.

Have you weighed a charge? Might be a reference point of some sort. Looks kinda like HP38 or W231 but that’s not a magnum powder by any means.

I did not. I probably should have. I still have 10 I could weigh the charge.

I have some 231 so I could try to compare. Might just toss it in the garden though to be safe…

Just weighed all the bullets just now and 11 weighed 210gr… the other 6 weighed 170gr.

Where'd it come from? New loads or reloads? Looks a lot like CFE Pistol too

Someone’s reloads. A member here gave them to me since he didn’t have any use for them. If I remember right he said he didn’t load them. Only info I have on them is the painters tape on the box that says the powder and charge.

I reload mainly CFEPistol and it looks darker than CFE.

What does the tape say for powder?

I also saw some powder like that in some Blacks Hills revolver ammo, it was real dark. They stated it was a Western Powder but wouldn't say the type.

Regardless, I'd burn it.
