Kind of question the thinking of being private when you willingly send someone your name address and checking account information and then say using a CC is giving up privacy.... what am I missing here? Please educate me how that makes sense.
Maybe its a degree of privacy....? Apart from old movies, I dont expect many crooks to steam the envelope open, and then copy my account number down. But apparently enough scamsters are tracking email payments, that it takes a multitude of passwords, just to see the balance on a checking account, using the net,
Instead of continuing this patter, I admit, YOU are I right, I am chump. And Tyler is laughing either method of payment. Should he ever send the adapters, or return the funds, I will report it here.
In the business world I appreciate the old proverb, "a sheep can be fleeced many times, but can be skinned only once"
Tyler apparently never understood that one. :-).

Would definitely not call you a chump... You have been done wrong as have other people and I , and I am sure other members on here, appreciate you sharing what has happened to you. I just feel that a CC purchase puts out less personal info and has a huge advantage in getting your money back if swindled. That is just my opinion and we all know about opinions LOL.

To any following this topic...As advised here, I contacted the OK AG sending my complaint against Tomahawk, this, mid Aug.
I then got a letter from the OK AG, advising me, that he had contacted Tomahawk. A week or so later, Tomahawk left a garbled phone message, contending that they had sent letters twice, as I was 20 buck short in my original order of mid Dec, 2021.
That I had contacted them multiple times, both written and email, and ignored phone messages, were apparently disregarded.
Benefit of the doubt, with the vid circus, perhaps gives them an "out". I was seeing a new "rent a mailman" every other week. I have lived at this same address, for 30 years, and am well enough known in Fallon, one could probably put my first name and correct zip code, and what ever letter would have a good chance of arriving.
I have made mistakes in payments before, Generally, the seller contacts me PDQ, and for sure, DOES NOT CASH the short payment!. Yesterday, I received a MO of the 140 that I sent originally.
I have no clue as too how they stay in business, if its managed like that. Benefit of the doubt, the vid jodidoed this country, in a million different small ways.
Sadly many in leadership, seem to want to continue the pain, which will never affect them you understand. Un less TX continues to send them their overage. Ya got to respect such tactics.
I thank Tomahawk for refunding my money, even if I did have to join here, and send the OK AG a letter to get it done....

Tyler & Mashburn Arms was purchased by a gun range in OKC (You Know the Name) when they were located in an Oil field Yard in South OKC
One of the relatives started running Tyler's on a part time basis when he gets around to it

Did they have a store front in Wheatland and add the range when they moved the shop?

Thnaks for the intell. I figured it was some story like that. A good education is expensive, and I truly like the adapters, but lets just say, Tyler wont be getting any more of my
"school money" :-)

Grip Adapter fits Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolvers Brushed Alloy Stainless Tyler T-Grip style Models 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 60, 351, 651, 637, 640, 642 $4 Ship:

This listing is for ONE Grip Adapter. Here is a 1970s style grip adapter to fit any Smith & Wesson Compact Revolver with small size J frame in conjunction with traditional small Magna type service grip panels. These are similar to the invention of Mr. Melvin Tyler, late of Oklahoma City, back in the 1950s. Manufacturer is a local Midsouth non ferrous casting firm. We are its exclusive distributor. Construction is one piece aluminum alloy, with brass alloy retaining clip and steel clip screw. Finish is brushed natural alloy. It matches stainless revolvers, but we’ve put these on blue guns, too, for many years. This adapter will fit any Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolver that has small size grip panels of similar size to the factory grips shipped until the 1990s, when rubber took over. It will work just fine with current production Smith & Wesson 21995 grips, with our J round magnas that we have up on this venue, and even with a Barami Clip Grip. This adapter is designed for Smith & Wesson Chief’s Special, Centennial, Kit Gun, .32 Hand Ejector, .32 Regulation Police, Terrier, Regulation Police, Bodyguard Revolver, and Air Lite series Revolvers. Numbered models include models 30, 31, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 48, 60, 317, 351, 437, 438, 442, 637, 638, 640, 642, 650, and 651. On the J frame, it does not matter whether the grip frame is round butt or square butt. This adapter will work on 5 shot Rossi or Taurus .22, .32, .38, or .357 Revolvers so long as they have standard magna type panels. It will not work on a Rossi Princess, will not work on a Charter revolver; will not work on a Smith & Wesson K Frame 6 Shot; will not work on the turn signal lever of a 1974 Ford Pinto. It will only work on a Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolver or one of its close Rossi or Taurus clones that have magna type grips that do not cover the front strap of the grip frame. This Grip Adapter provides support for the shooter’s middle and ring fingers, with enough space for the pinky to rest on the grip frame front strap for most shooters. Its purpose is a better feel, but they also allow a much smaller grip circumference than Rubber or Combat grips, and it will reduce felt muzzle flip with magnum loads. This grip adapter, with the above listed requirements, is relatively easy to install. All a person needs to do is loosen their revolver’s grip panels’ screw just enough for the brass tabs to fit around the grip frame’s front strap, slide it into place and then retighten the grip screw. This grip adapter restores the classic 1970s – 1980s appearance to any J Frame Smith & Wesson Revolver, and it is certainly Period Appropriate for any Square Butt variants. Note that these are wire brushed finish, not polished. We’re offering these excellent revolver accessory items, each for only $ 27.00.

Considering its not a space engineer design, the free market will, in theory, fill any "hole" if the "hole" needs filled.
Pachmayer offered plastic versions for years as most here likely know.
I found one, off one of the gun sites, I dont recall which, for a J frame, round butt. Which being an old school guy, I carry often as not. I think it "prints" a little less under a shirt tail, than what ever small pistol I have.
Perhaps the outfit mentioned previous, I dont recall.
I am not sure how ANY revolver, is competing with a couple of these really neat smaller pistol designs though, at least to consider some new adaptor maker, to thrive.
And that comment is not meant as a challenge to either camp. Just an observation. I switch carry guns, about as often as I change my socks.
I suspect folks would be surprised, to learn how many fire arms related things, are made by small job shops. I worked decades back, in then Denver area, the shop made rings for Redfield, and a machine that made corn chips, all under the same roof.
Horse and bridle items, same deal, but under a nationally known name. A local buddy has a shop, he the only one there that spoke English, none of his cousins working there did.
But his production sold nation wide. Headquarters upper midwest, as memory serves.

Here, but occasionally There.

Not the same. The one I think they are referring to is now called GunWorld over in the Del City area. That one USED to be Mashburn Arms before the purchase and move to Del City, and when they built that one, they did put in a range.

Don't go looking for GunWorld unless you just like giving away extra money.
