Our daughter has a golden retriever. She used Rover to find a girl that has 2 goldens herself and will take up to 4 more at a time. She has a big yard with plenty of room. Has been a lifesaver for her and last minute business trips.
Pretty much anywhere I've looked, they all want the dog to have up to date shots, kennel cough shot is usually required.
One thing to consider, depending on how your relationship is, you may be able to reach out to your breeder if they're local and see if they will board. I made a post on facebook to get recommendations on where to take my boy and the breeder got on and said they would rather I let them keep him for the time. I greatly prefer it too, so it works out.
That's a good thought but I have no idea where the breeder is at this point, moved years ago.
Yes, Our kids have two German Short Hair retrievers. Rover found a nice couple that would come to their house 4 times a day for and hour or so to walk them and take care of them. They had a huge yard so they come to them.
Usually all that's needed is a updated shot record. All I asked for when I was breeding Great Danes.
I don't give my dogs that particular shot, it caused kennel cough, then spread it...its about as good as most vaccines I guess.

We use camp bow wow in Edmond. They do a great job, they have their own area/cot each night not a cage and during the day they are out playing the entire time. They have an app where you can watch cameras of their play area all day.
