It must have been pretty recently because I watched it online for free about 3 months ago. The first time I saw it was on a laser disk at a friend's house. History of the World Part ! was on another disk.
I bought Montey Python and the Holy Grail and we about wore those disks out. Since then, I don't watch movies over and over. I wait at least a year to see a movie again.
Just keep an eye out each month. It rotates on and off various streaming services throughout the year. They also had a screening at one of the smaller OKC theaters during COVID, but my wife was nervous about watching it in public and laughing.

I seriously wonder how long shows like that will be found in the wild. I caught 3 minutes of the Jeffersons on one of the MEtv type channels last night. In that time George tried to run off a girlfriend of the brit neighbor by calling her out for wearing pants instead of a dress and harassed the white neighbor for his honky-ishness. I'm still a bit triggered.

Seriously I often wonder how we could watch those shows and the comedians we did, and understand that they were fighting racism by exposing it and doing the one thing real racist can not stand, laughing at them. Yet today's supposedly smarter people get triggered for real by it.
