I write checks for our bills all the time now. One bad experience with the pay-on-line **** was enough for me. Also, years ago VW took 2 lease payments out of my account instead of one. Took them another month to refund my funds. Nope -- ****ing bastards can wait on my handwritten check sent in snail mail. **** them.

The wealthiest people that I know, almost all still use checks.

I don't use checks...but I'm a poor azz and too lazy to write one out. Frankly, I'm not sure if I remember how to do it.

As a business owner I tell all my clients I prefer checks and most comply. Processing fees can eat a good chunk out of the big payments.

Because they want it now and don’t mind paying extra for the interest. Someone will chime in here and say they pay their balance in full each month. Most people don’t. I’m still waiting for Biden to implement the Mastercard forgiveness program. I was once in pretty deep to credit cards and learned my lesson the hard way. I am thinking about maxing them out on guns and ammo just to see if that new credit card tracking program works.

Yep. But every employer I've had in like FOREVER has used direct deposit.

Haha I was once in deep in credit cards, but my ex wife drove 85% of that once she was gone the problem resolved itself. Out of 50K of limits I use roughly 2 to 4K and pay most of that off every month (Most importantly I could pay it completely off at any time I choose another ….side effect of losing that wife 20 years ago) Now that I don’t buy ammo or firearms with them anymore I am not sure I really need them. But man I can fly anywhere I want at anytime with the air miles on the one card I actually use. Like you if the situation gets much worse I am going gang busters and maxxing them out for the beyond Thunderdome years we seem to be heading into.
