I’m noticing a lot of people getting rid of pistol braces before December.

I read one time that the AFT had like 11,000 agents. It was written in a very menacing font. Technically I’m too dang lazy to go look up the offishul stats. I figure it might be possible to round up twice that many pissed off rednecks in a couple of hours. I wouldn’t even hazard an assessment of the collective moral position but intent should be considered. 😂😉

Soooo, we might have a game if they’ll pick a sandlot.
Don't forget the irs backup agents! 😲🤣🤣🤣

I don’t think those of you in Oklahoma will have anything to worry about. I definitely wouldn’t start throwing away my braces. Give it time. I bet Oklahoma will probably refuse to let the ATF enforce that law even if it does pass legal action. Unlike here in Illinois. I might have to destroy my rifle if they ban pistol braces since this is a non-nfa state.
Just swap the buffer tube to an old school plain pistol buffer tube. Then it doesn’t have to be destroyed.

If a law is unconstitutional then it is null and void, do the states not have that right?
No, they do not. Being correct matters not, force is what decides what the law of the land shall be.

And the feds don't care if they're right or wrong, it's simply enforcing their will and controlling their subjects that drives them.

The ATF is scheduled to issue the final rule for pistol braces on or about Dec. 28, 2022. Then more lawsuits alleging executive agency overreach will begin.

This. It has to go through all of the process before ATF gets shot down. The only move I'm making is IF ATF determines a "pistol" with a brace is an SBR and offers a $0 registration period, I'll take advantage of that. Even if/when ATF gets shot down in court, if I've already registered one or more "pistols" as SBR's, hopefully they'll get to remain on the registry because I'll already have rifle stocks on them.

Anything else and I'll either make them so they don't have to be registered, or just Form 1 them on eFile and be done with it. All else being equal, I'd like to have an SBR or two, and one "pistol" I can use in states where AR pistols are legal, but SBR's are not. JMO, YMMV

Yeah, but .....

There are several issues where states have decided to run roughshod over federal law, most notably in regards to immigration and pot. Or is it only ok when it's not a conservative issue?
It's only "ok" until the feds decide to enforce the law.

It's the fed being chicken s*** on a lot of it. Pot, for example. They just 'ignore' that, instead of manning up and making it legal. They'll wait until all states have passed their laws contradicting federal law, and THEN do something about it so they can just avoid any squawk. Now they just ignore it, but still have that stick available if they need to selectively enforce it.
