Better be a seriously high paying and very important position. I would seriously laugh my ass off if someone said they wanted a polygraph. Would you like them to wear a tracking device too?
Only if they are in a company vehicle. I get it. You guys can’t or won’t answer a simple question about whether or not you would hire a dope smoker over a non dope smoker get your jollies posting stupid stuff here. Many of you wouldn’t pass a polygraph test so I understand the reluctance to take one. The jobs in question were high paying and now have a nice retirement. People lined up every time there was an opening but many didn’t make the cut. Times have changed. Now some people that claim to run a very successful company have time to spend half their day on OSA. Just more BS for the ignored list.

Yeah, polygraph requirements for a civilian job is douchey at best. Nobody does it unless they are doing certain things and I wouldn't work for them.

He said "need I go on?" but changed to this 👇 👇 . That's fine, but the "need to go on" is other questions that have nothing to dowith crap - trap questions to get you to lie. If it's a job that requires a clearance and security, they can pull your clearance and level charges...it's how they get people who don't tell them everything or slip up. Complete 5A violation BS. If you pass, then you're good.

It used to be a lot more common to have to take a polygraph test prior to employment. Many places now just hire warm bodies.
Really?? I don't think so.

Thanks for the PSA

Hey @JD8 @TedKennedy , I think we're all in the same club. At this rate, Devildog won't have any frens

Didn't he just join the forum? And he's already 💩ing on everyone he can.

It's ok with me.

As for polygraph - I've seen enough true crime shows to know I'd never take one, for any reason.

Drug testing? FAA regulated job here for 22 years plus, so no dope, whether it's legal or not. Test before hiring, random tests periodically.

I honestly don't get the ignore thing. I do have my own 'mental skip' on a few, but otherwise I don't understand it. I guess if someone develops an infatuation with me and starts stalking maybe? But otherwise I've been able to recover from any word trauma inflicted on me here.

To each their own though.

Figured that was coming. Ol' dude has paper thin skin, which is weird for a marine.

He still reads my posts so.....

I bet none of the presidents / VP or members of Congress in the history of the USA could pass a polygraph.
Do you think that’s a good thing? Actually, a polygraph is required for certain types of security clearances. How carefully they are administered or if the actual results are shared is questionable I’m sure. As voters and citizens we bend over and grab our ankles daily when it comes to holding out elected leaders accountable.

I have only certain DBs on ignore...they are complete turds. Either snitching (literally), trying to screw me on a deal, or just an A-hole and I can't block. But not everyone with whom I disagree...we couldn't hear what one another has to say. It's a small few and if they were to get squooshed like a squirrel, I wouldn't expend the O2 to say "that sucks".
