Just curious if anyone has run across an actual live Springfield Armory SA-35 pistol? It's the new High Power clone of the Browning original. I picked up a SA mil-spec SS 1911 .45ACP a few years ago and I really like it. Thought this might be a good companion to it. I've been on several waiting lists for months now. I've called around to a few LGS with no luck either. Some on line sites have them but at 2 or 3 times MSRP. I want one but just not gonna pay a crazy price. I know it's new and it takes time to roll out a product but SA introduced it last October 2021. I figured 6 months later and we should be seeing these everywhere. Wondering if SA can't keep up with demand or are distributors and dealers purposely hoarding to drive up prices? Again just curious.
Have you tried Buds?

Glad you found one locally. BHP has always been my favorite handgun. I purchased a Belgium BHP in the 1960's which I still have. Back then the BHP's had a red mag well and the small safety. It is in 98/99 % condition. I stopped carrying it when I found a Colt LW Commander and the BHP became a safe Queen to be handed down to my 60 year old son.

Just checked their website. You're right, tons of Springfield stuff listed. All kinds of XDs and Hellcats but nada on the SA-35.
Guess I'm going to have to wait a little longer.
I'm posting this message today, June 22, 2022. I ordered an SA-35 shortly after they were released last October. It's been 8 months and I haven't seen it yet. My dealer called me a few weeks ago and said the Springfield Armory rep would be at the shop and had an SA-35 I could shoot. I took him up on it; I loved it! But, the rep told me SA way underestimated the popularity of the gun and haven't been able to meet demand. They also have to run other guns on the same manufacturing lines; so the SA-35 isn't running all of the time. He said it might be after Oct. 2022 before I get one, if I'm lucky.

I shot a friend's SA 35 last week , out of the box no problems , the trigger was very nice . The finish was a bit underwhelming. Same friend had a Girsan 35 the trigger on his was terrible . Some report extraction problems with the SA 35

I looked for an SA-35 at the big show this past weekend, but alas, saw none. The two vendors I asked said they just can’t get them in.
