I've always wanted an old Zodiac watch, and these are extremely well made. This one is going to be killer once it's finished.

Love it!

I’m fascinated with your work and read your posts multiple times as I have a few old watches that I will want worked on one of these days, let us know when you are accepting work!

Seriously, it is refreshing to read!!

I can accept work now, it just depends upon what kind of watch it is. I can’t take on any chronographs yet. Feel free to PM me with details/photos on what you’d like done and I’ll be happy to discuss it with you. Thanks.

Yep, great work @thor447
I was wondering the same thing about your taking on work. I have a Hamilton from the 40’s that I had repaired four years ago (new main spring) and just last month it died again. There literally isn’t anyone in Oklahoma I can find that works on these oldies. I also have a NUMBER of old pocket watches but one specifically (it’s a 5 or 7 jewel, I can’t remember which) I’d like repaired if possible. I’ll have to get in touch with you to see if it’s work you’d be interested in tackling. 👍🏻

What makes a watch a chronograph? I've seen that tag applied to some of them, but I've never seen an explanation, and I've never really been curious enough to remember to look it up on my own...
In short, it has an additional feature of acting as a stopwatch. Generally it will have additional subdials on the face to count seconds and minutes, and will have one or two additional pushers on the side of the watch to start, stop, and reset the stopwatch.

If you’d like to send me a photo of your watch I can tell you whether or not it is a chronograph.
