Considering how many people ignore the "we kindly ask you to not open carry" signs at Walmart when they can concealed carry instead, i'm surprised they haven't already put up the no gun signs. Nothing says responsible like carry folks that can't or won't respect the rules.
I hear ya, although come on now… lets be honest, how many of us occasionally still carry in places that have the No gun sign? I break “the rules” occasionally

I very rarely see anyone open carry. But I don't go to Walmart often, is that where they do it?
I've seen plenty over the years. Every single time it's a cringe moment because it's so unnecessary, and makes gun owners looks bad. Because quite literally no one, ever, in the history of all time, that was not a gun person, has looked upon someone open carrying at a Walmart and though "wow, what a responsible person, I am going to positively change my opinions about gun owners". On the other hand, I bet there are a lot of folks that see that and think "just like I thought, those idiots either can't respect the rules or can't read the sign".

I mean, they don't have a no concealed policy generally (although certain states might differ, I dunno about all of them) which is positive. I don't get OC anyways, but that's just my opinion.

Oh I'm sure lots of people do. Not my thing, but I rarely speak for the masses.

There’s groups I follow on Facebook that make fun of open carriers, fuds, or “grey men”. A large percentage of their material posted comes from Walmart.

True, but I’m assuming you’re talking about concealed carry. Concealed is concealed. A store might say “don’t crap in here”. If you just openly take a dump between the fresh produce and the meat section you’re openly breaking the rules and being a jerk. But If you crap your pants in the same spot, you might have broken the rules, but nobody knows but you.

So how long you think it is before Walmart starts putting up metal detectors to enter? Or heck maybe some already do. Would you still shop there if they did and just leave it in the vehicle?

The future of grocery shopping is ordering online and picking them up curbside like the good old days of the general store.
They can't rob the store blind if they can't come inside.

Been a whole lot longer than that for me. Think I'm going on three years now.
I went 7 years without going to my local WMart here in TX. The only reason I went then was because our local Staples closed, and I really needed some invoice pads.

The ONLY place I go that doesn’t allow concealed carry is the court house to get my truck and trailer registrations done every year. Other than that, I’m out if I can’t carry. :anyone:
