A member got somewhat close to me today and I was able to finally meet up and pick up one of my bucket list guns. Been looking for one for a long time in .357mag but I think .45 Colt will be just fine. I need to wipe her down, got to many finger prints on her from to much fingering.

Congratulations! Let me know if you ever decide to get rid of it.

Picked this up on Sunday. Browning buckmark, .22, 3 mags, fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, hardcase. Hopefully shoot it this weekend.

A friend of mine has one. I've shot it a few times.

Good looking revolver.

Just a heads-up: With that bird head grip, lighter loads are the ticket. Full-house Ruger Only loads will make you wonder why you thought it was a good idea.

I got 50 factory rounds with it. Atomic Ammunition - Looks like it was loaded with Star Line brass.

I’ll probably shoot these and then develop a load later. Anyone have a good source on .45LC brass?

When I can find the factory cowboy loads, I buy them and reload using that brass. Midway USA has some now for around $1.00/round. It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s cheaper than most other factory loads.

I think you'll enjoy that .45 Colt more than you would have the .357. But as @Dumpstick said, you probably won't want to shoot full bore loads all day! Congrats!
