I don't know the technical term but basically he made an incision around that knobby bone on the outside of my right ankle and pulled the tendons tight to stop my ankle from rolling. Years of wearing heels and multiple strains had not torn those muscles/tendons but had stretched them and made my ankle extremely "wobbly" and unstable. It is not wobbly any longer but it is still unstable. I now have to wear Danners most of the time so that my boots can support that ankle even though it now feels very stiff. I cannot go up or down stairs or steps without holding onto something because my ankle will not support that movement at all.
Ok, thanks. This helps. Let me talk to a few of my people here at the studio and I will get back to you.

@THAT Gurl ,
Here are a few websites with basic ankle and foot exercises to strengthen the ankle and foot especially after a surgery.

https://www.foot-pain-explored.com/...theraband. ... 3 Dynamic Foot Strengthening.
https://www.masterclass.com/articles/ankle-strengthening-exercises
https://www.healthline.com/health/ankle-mobility
We use a lot of these exercises for warm-ups and to keep our students' ankles and feet strong. Quite of few of them have and various surgeries on their feet and ankles and started and continued with most of these exercises. I hope this helps out.

Remember that if any exercise you're doing causes more pain or swelling of the foot. Stop and find a different on. It's not doing your ankle any good or could be making it worse.

@dancer4life thank you SO much!! I will watch/read thru all these tonight and work out a program to start tomorrow.

I recently re-read a book I got a couple years ago (Lifespan -- why we age and why we don't have to by David Sinclair) and found his podcast that he recently began on YouTube (David Sinclair) and am making a concentrated effort to eliminate the things in my life that exacerbate inflammation (Sugar, processed foods, lack of sleep, lack of certain vitamins, minerals and cellular supplements) because I am really tired of spending all my time at doctors' offices and still hurting enough that I don't feel like doing much of anything. Grumpy and I wanna take a trip next summer and I don't wanna feel like **** the whole time we're gone.

Wife and I ordered a new refrigerator for our RV home and it was delivered to the RV dealership where they are working on the things needed done. We drove out there to examine it and found out that they didn't install the ice maker like they said they would. The did bring the ice maker kit, but it was still in a box. So, we made a trip to the appliance store and told them to either get this fixed or we would bring the refrigerator back.

They called the folks that were supposed to install the kit, so it appears that they will stand by their agreement.

But, we are STILL waiting for that one window.
