Also, I've been getting a bunch a spam that I try to unsubscribe from. If you hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom, it will take you to a web page that wants you to type in your email address you want unsubscribed. Be careful, you shouldn't have to type in your email address, they already have it. I'm not sure of a work around yet to unsubscribe from these emails.

Unless it's email from a large and respected company, NEVER unsubscribe from it. It will not unsub you, it instead goes into a database of "known, confirmed " address' that are worth more money. It can start an avalanche of unwanted traffic.

On the other hand, an e-mail address related to my Smugmug account does get an occasional message from "Lisa." I have no idea what she wants because I delete them every time.
That's prolly the better half trolling you, lol. Or worse, Lisa from some Friday night in some club from 20 years ago 👀

When you subscribe to one, you end up subscribing to all. They can't "resubscribe" you once you request removal, but when you sign up for one thing, they will attach your email to about "infinity" other emails and you have to unsunscribe from each. It's a scam. Even legit organizations do this - PACs and political committees are some of the worst. I just send them to the promo/spam folder and they get deleted en masse once a month.

Here, but occasionally There.

The only problem with that is that I haven't been in a "club" since late in 1969. On that occasion it was the NCO club at a very small Army base in California. I was there because my new wife of just months notified me that she was pregnant.

Oh, and her name is not Lisa.

The scammers are getting more imaginative. I received several emails telling me that I have a package from FedEx coming and I need to clink on a link to confirm it.

The first clue was that I haven’t ordered anything. The second was a statement that said the package was expected June 6, 2022. Next were symbols in the senders address that I’ve never seen in an email before. Lastly was the shipping number. It was only six numbers and no characters.

There were also pictures in the background showing a FedEx Truck and driver.
I have been receiving these as well, but did not fall for it.
