I am not buying into that chart thing.
My 40 gr bullets shot decent groups in my 1:7 twist 16" AR.
That is red as can get.

I have shot many weight bullets in my 1:9 never a keyhole.

It’s probably just a guide. A suggestion, not a hard-and-fast rule.
Its is just a guide. All it is saying is that the round may not fully stabilize. The key hole that the rounds are making could just be a phenomenon. I seen some did stabilize.

What does the crown look like?

The crown looks fine. The damn thing has very little wear...doesn't appear to have been shot much at all.

I wish I'd taken a picture of the 25 yd target. Normal little holes at that range. I'm guessing that was just a fluke because I don't think a bullet can tumble at 10 yds and become stabilized by 25 yds. Can they?

At any rate, I have some 55gr stuff on the way. I'll give it another shot here in a few days.

What Brand of AK were you shooting, cause I see one flyer! That one almost made a round hole!
