Edit: ATF just added this to eForms. Not good! New NFA guidelines.

***Proved as incorrect information. The ATF said this Is wrong and will be corrected***

Hopefully we can debunk this one, but it’s not looking very promising.

So apparently the ATF added that knowone but you or a listed responsible person/trustee can shoot or hold your NFA item.

WTF is going on. The path that they are on is not good at all! This snowball is rolling downhill fast!

Hopefully this gets debunked like the 88 day rule with eForm 1’s. Since we all know 88 days is the amount of time the FBI has to complete the initial background check, and that has nothing to do with the ATF form 1 approval period.

OK this will kill things like OFASTS at least as I would understand it .

If this holds true, I think it would apply to any rental across the board, as well as handing a suppressed rifle to a friend to shoot while he is standing next to me. I wish I could find more information. The Reddit guys are tearing it apart. The more I read it’s all in the gray area except for hand grenades. Since you can’t technically hand it back once you throw it. That’s a whole different argument though since you could technically have a customer throw it in a pit that says “return grenade here”.. I mean it was returned, but the DD destroyed it’s self.

Years back when I worked in OKC one of my favorite things to do was go and rent a MG at lunch time / grab a Frito chili pie while I was there .

It seems to me that ATF is trying to push these rule changes to the breaking point to see what they can get away with. Congress really has to reign not only ATF in but the rest of the agencies which can write rules at a whim.

Plain and simple this is part of Brandon's plan to implement as much gun control as possible via the backdoor , interestingly enough and call me a conspiracy theorist if you want...

1. ATF decides to try and make everyone with a Pistol and attached brace register their gun as a SBR

2. ATF now says NO ONE but the owner can shoot an NFA item even if the owner is present.

So does the above mean that if I came here from another country and was issued a Green Card I could just go out an buy a suppressor, but as an American Citizen I cannot unless I jump through hoops, comply with a bunch of crap, and pay a $200 tax?

I heard somewhere a week or two back that they were gonna say that about the BRACE stamps, because according to we the people, braces were for people with disabilities, but they never said it would effect the rest of the stamps.

Aliens have been able to buy guns and NFA items for years assuming they have a green card

Say what you will but this is the construction of what amounts effectively to a de facto ban
