The only positive to this whole thing, in my opinion, is Russia losing the bulk of their main tanks and a bunch of aircraft.

This is true. Most "real" news now is all real or near real time videography and ad hoc reporting by various citizens and folks in all those places.
How many people here watch vs sh*t on Rebel News or OANN, Disclose, GWP, etc. Majority of folks discount or outright crap on sources that aren't any of the "bigs". They probably get the Sunday paper still too.

I’m currently reading a book about Roosevelt and WW2. Prior to Pearl Harbor, Churchill wanted more and more and more from the Lend Lease program. There were many in the US who feared we would be defenseless if we gave as much military hardware as Churchill wanted.

Just an interesting parallel.

FDR spent a great deal of time and political effort to get us (the US) into WW2.

Lend/lease was a way around the US law that disallowed selling or giving any military hardware to any other country.

FDR stated that we weren't selling it or giving it away. We were lending some, and leasing out the rest.

Woodrow Wilson wanted the same in WW1. He even sent agents around the country to provoke hatred against Germany etc.


Damn Democrats. The most of the biggest wars we've had outside the country were started by democrats.

Some have advocated for sending them F-16s all along. Last year on his YouTube channel, CW “Mover” Lemoine, who used to be a Viper driver (and instructor, IIRC), discussed why that idea is a complete non-starter, no matter how many people wish it to be so. I think Ward Carroll (a former Naval aviator) has also touched on this on his YouTube channel.
