Here, but occasionally There.
We had company yesterday evening. Our church's minister and his wife were out for supper and a visit. They have been baking and delivering cookies to folks at church for their birthdays and anniversaries. He had mentioned that since they had done all that, they knew where everyone lived. Only, when they delivered our anniversary cookies, they delivered it to our son's address because that is where we get our mail. So, we invited them out so that they could see where we actually live and in what.

We also got a phone call yesterday. The company we work Summers for called and asked if we could work part of South Carolina in a few weeks. Apparently they have about 20-some thousand miles there to do this year, and the company wants to send three teams to start with to work some of it. Then, it looks like they still want us to work north Texas again. So, we could have some extra work this year and get to see some new country. Neither of us have ever been to South Carolina. They haven't decided fully on the SC teams, but we do have a good chance of getting picked for there, because we have worked one of the systems that will be used before.

If chosen, we will go out around mid-April to start.

The forecast here in east TX was predicting a low of 31 last night, but from experience, it’s always colder where I live out in the country. My blackberries are full of blooms, so I covered them with a tarp. It’s 26 freaking degrees on my porch right now, and the tarp blew off a couple of my plants. I’m really hoping they didn’t get bit too bad.

Edit to add. I just check my Oklahoma cameras, and two show a low of 6 with the one by the river showing 4. :ooh2:
