I feel your pain. I've always preferred dealing with the USPS over FedEx or UPS. Not anymore since we've moved to Ada. Ada has the WORST mail service I've seen in my entire life. Rarely does a week go by that something doesn't get delivered, gets misrouted, etc. It's truly horrible.

I wonder if it's a rural vs urban thing. I've overall had really good USPS service in Moore. You can do most things online or at the self service kiosk, but even when I need help at the counter they seem to be helpful.

Yeah, kind of sensing a pattern here. Our government is failing us on every level. National debt is out of control with no end in sight. By their own estimates the USPS lost approximately 87 billion dollars in the last 14 years and project future losses for the next 10 years of over 160 billion dollars. Seems we keep paying more and more and getting less and less. If the government could maybe do a few basic things like control our borders, reduce crime, make our streets drivable, hold politicians accountable and maybe just maybe deliver the mail on time it would be a start.

The post office has absolutely no business sense whatsoever. Good example, a few years back they gave sweetheart deals on shipping to Amazon, we know how that turned out, Amazon now has their own delivery service they built by not paying a lot in shipping. The USPS also have a nice deal with UPS, so nice that You can ship something UPS and it will arrive USPS. Pay attention if you're mailing or shipping stuff to see what happens. Where's Cliff Claven when you need him?

Don't leave FedEx out. If you ship their cheapest service, FedEx Ground Economy, it gets handed off to USPS along the way. It used to be called FedEx SmartPost. Has to be the most illogical routing system ever when you track a FGE package it goes to various states/cities nowhere near the destination and estimated delivery date just changes every day or two.
