Typical, it is always the customer's fault, never postal.
BS, reread what was told to you. You lack comprehension. The NEIGHBOR dog! How or WHY should I be sued for a carrier getting bit?
The mailbox has been in the same location since 1991. Name and address on both sides of box. Pics of damage turned in. Carrier denies guilt and pstmstr stands with her. SURPRISE

Yet, you say; "Things ain’t like they used to be and stuff ain’t getting better every day. I’m glad I’m retired"
Maybe YOU cared about the job and customer service, but not all do. I say maybe, because you constantly deflect and defend. Even when you make the quoted statement. Though, you admit to firing incompetent carriers.
Rule of business, ONE customer complaint represents 1500 dissatisfied customers that didn't complain.
I wish I could blame our crap service on Gen-X, but carrier is mid-50s.

The town is routed for 3 carriers, yet there has been 2, since before the Fauci Planned DEMic. When asked, they are not hiring.
You may have legitimate complaints that need addressed. No pun intended. The carrier needs to do her job. I thought you said it was your daughter’s dog.

Since Friday 3/17/2023, I have not received my mail for my business post office box. Nobody is receiving their mail because the mail isn’t making it to the post office. For the last umpteen years, the mail has been delivered by contract drivers. It was delivered from Oklahoma City to Lawton by a contractor, and it would then be sorted and delivered to the different rural community post offices in the area. According to the lady that works at my post office (Medicine Park), USPS ended the contract delivery last Friday, and it is now supposed to be delivered by USPS drivers. On Monday, she said that the mail hadn’t been delivered because the driver couldn’t find the post office. Seriously, the USPS can’t find a United States Post Office. Yesterday, I spoke with her again, and she said it is now some sort of problem related to the bar codes. The postal service has been around for over 200 years, and they can’t find a post office! If and when the mail is delivered, the poor lady at my post office is going to be tasked with sorting out mail for the last several days. On a personal note, I’m waiting on several checks, and I have to take the customer’s word that “the check is in the mail”. Rant over
Government BUREAUCRATS CAN'T OPERATE ANY BUSINESS!! For proof, look at all Comunist/Socisalist nations that the government controls all business, and what a feasco that is, every time!! Venezuela is a good example. Venezuerla was the wealthiest nation, with the highest standard of living, in South America, then the Communist/Socialist took over, for the poor people good, nationalized all business, and only 20 years later, Venezuela is the POOREST nation, with the LOWEST STANDARD OF LIVING in South America!! Privately owned business, MUST ANSWER TO THE ONLY UNBISED JUDGE WE HAVE ON EARTH, THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM, NOT SOME CROOKED POLITICIAN!!

I should have just stuck with my original post instead of responding individually to some of you guys. The problem I have is one man voiced a legitimate complaint about mail not getting to his post office and as usual on OSA, the me too movement begins. I would be the first to agree, the Postal Service is in bad need of either privatization or abolishment. I spent 34 years trying my best at every job I held with them. It is embarrassing to hear some of the stories I read on this forum but I do suspect that many of them are embellished by a bunch of old farts that could not do the job any better. Some of you have legitimate complaints and I would recommend calling 405-815-2100 to voice those to the district manager’s office.

Agreed. The USPS is a complete disaster now. Like union, none of the full times care or do any work that’s not required and even then it’s 10 percent effort. Sad
I've bit my tongue until now but I have to shut this bullsh*t down right now. Tell me which plant you work in? How do you come by your sage wisdom? I am a career mail processing clerk on tour 3 at the OKC P&DC. All of the clerks on my tour, both career and casual work our butts off 8-10 hours a day. There are no 10% performers. I ran over 80k pieces last night for Altus and Warr Acres/Hefner. Then I go to Express Mail for up to 90 minutes and help make sure we get all of our delivery commitments met. No, what's sad is people offering up opinions not based in reality. /rant mode off

I know. My last good contact that gave a crap about trying to resolve some of the problems I’ve sent her before from this forum. And I do still know a few postmasters around the state, but many of them are retiring as well. Hard to believe I’ve been gone for 12 years. Several people complaining about the Postal Service on this forum either work at or retired from Tinker Air Force Base, the biggest waste of federal tax money known to man. I know, I worked there a couple of months before the Postal Service. Most postal employees do more work in their first four hours than most Timker employees do in 40. 😂

In their wisdom the USPS took a perfectly capable window trained SSDA PSE and turned me into a MPC. The only way for me to get back to a station is to go PTF with my seniority. That's a hard pass. I will get back to a station someday. Did you know Walt Long at 39th St.?

If the government was involved in making milk, it would turn to clabber. From mail service, health care, Social Security, etc, The gov’t can’t even handle/police themselves.
