I used to know some Marines who talked about contests involving Meals Refusing to Exit. One of them almost got left behind on maneuvers because he waited until the last possible second for his emergency dump…
They must have been eating the peanut butter packet cauz I have NEVER had a MRE that refused to exit. It was usually like soft serve ice cream. You often needed 30+ MRE toilet paper packets to get through the wiping stage. ESPECIALLY, if you clenched.

I never really had issues with MRE's. Yeah, you might not poo for a few days, like intended, but while they may be impressive when they finally make their exit, its just normal poops after that.

Some people though, I don't know how they do it. When I worked for john Deere, without fail, every morning I would find a forearm sized and shaped turn in one of the toilets. I don't understand how that happens with such regularity. Especially when half they guys who worked there just lived on free coffee from the break room.
