Wanenmacher gun show April 1-2

**** show. Got there at 9 this morning and attempted to find parking for almost an hour. Longer you don't find a spot, the more crowded it gets, and man were people driving getting aggressive.
Then I saw the line to get in and called it. Not worth it.
Was hoping to find parking lot deals without even going in, but don't need to get run over for them

Yea I was way over where the race track was. It's was like walking through 2 gun shows.

I didn't get there until about noon, so parking wasn't too terrible.

Very few modern guns to be found (that are non meme tier anyway). Lots of old school guns if that's your thing. Fun to look at, but not something I was in the market for currently.

Did find a good deal on one of the 3 guns I was on the lookout for, so I wasn't mad about it. Sure wish all the folks sporting backpacks realized that they make them bigger then they normally are when they suddenly stop and turn sideways.

Parking was worse but inside was not as crowded as last fall. Maybe another show going on. Took about 5 hrs to get thru both levels.

I noticed that too. Couldn’t find a parking spot to save my life but it was surprisingly not that crowded. Weird.

We got some deals and made some deal - we had a good time anyway. Fun to mess with guys and 99% mess back the other 1% either had bad hearing or just walked away, no bad moods. Good comradery if nothing else.

Sorry D, I just got home and got this. I just cruised the aisles, slow walked the top section from 8:45-4:45, I never made it downstairs. It was packed from 11-1ish. Prices were everywhere, a few reasonable prices if you were an end user buyer. I sold a Garand to the owner of a major well known on-line auction house. Sounds like I was too cheap…. I was too tired to lug around the other Garand I have for sale.
I had my wife drop me off and pick me up so I didn’t have the parking problem.

I go there every 2-3 years to remind myself why I don’t go there. Now I’m good for a few years

They had a stock show or something back in the barns too. That didn't help. I toured around there too.
