Where is ATF's denial? Your friend of a friend quote is lacking credability. You obvviously have your mind made up, but I prefer to wait for some facts to be posted (letter to YHM from ATF, confirmation from another suppressor manufacturer, etc..).

No, my mind isnt made up. I'm just being hopeful considering the information I was able to dig up. Savvy?

I completely understand that sometimes, just because you work for a govt agency, you dont neccessarily know everything that is going on.

My relative is FB of Intimidation ;), as far as his buddy thats ATF, I dont know him from Adam.

Not trying to pass off what I know as fact, I am just saying, if what I was told is true... Follow me?

Polite Society has some AAC and SWR mounts in stock.

Here is what Mark from Polite Society had to say about this over at arfcom:

This ruling might only apply to replacement pistons and similar items and not fast-attach FS mounts. Some guys are starting to freak out and order huge numbers of FS mounts and I don't think it is quite necessary yet. Let's not see another post-election frenzy when it might not be necessary is all I am saying. We've been told nothing has changed...yet.

Take care,

Mark

With legislation I trend towards the not freaking out part. Sadly, the ATF has a long history of suddenly decreeing things that were ok to no longer be allowed.

I saw that, but I think he is talking about QD flash hiders and thread on 3 lug adapters not being part of this. I think the mount for "multi mount" style pistol cans are in question.
