Hi all,

I got a CR Speed belt and can't figure out how to install my OWB tactical holster and mag carriers on it...

So, it has two parts. One is steel banded and they both have velcro on them. The tactical holster attaches with the belt going through the slits. does the steel banded part go through the slits or just the non banded part? If the steel banded goes through, does the non-banded part wrap around the outside of the holster bracket?

My two parts are now separated, so I'm sorta confused. Pics would be most helpful. :-) Being a newb sucks. :-)

Thanks!

The holster and mag holders go on the big belt. The thin velcro belt is what goes inside your belt loops on your pants. The big belt then wraps around the small one (and outside your pants belt loops).

I've also seen guys wear a normal belt to hold their pants on and use the CR on top of it all just for the holster and mag holders. The two piece CR keeps all the gear right where you put it cause its velcroed in place.

I should have also added that it helps to take some Velcro and put it on the backside of your holster and mag pouch attachments. it makes things just that much more secure and nothing moves back and forth. This gives the little inside belt something to grab into all the way around. Hobby lobby sells a nice 2" wide X 5' long strip for $12 or Radio Shack has some stuff that had the best adhesive I have found. You can barely get it off.

Where did you order it from?

I find that Shooters Connection has some of the best service around. That's where I order most of my competition gear.

I went through Shooter's Connection and got the stuff as fast as possible. I think total time was 4 days and this was with the cheapest shipping option.

Jesse - my mag pouches came with velcro on them. Now I know why. I will do that same thing to my holster.. great idea! I even have some velcro already that will work great.

Now all I need is a competition to shoot! Is there ANYTHING this weekend around OKC?
