The AK draco pistols have caught my eye. The price seems right but the only intrest I would have in one is by adding a stock and SBR-ing it.

I already know the process and legalities of making a SBR so, no help needed there.

My question is.... is it possible to add a stock to this pistol?

Thanks'

Yes it is. There are two ways to accomplish it (both after NFA Form 1 is returned of course):

1. Bust the rivets on the rear trunion, fill and refinish the holes, add the trunion of your choice (folder/regular), redrill and rivet

2. ACE Folder mounted to the rear trunion that is already in it, which is the way I am going.

There is a thread on ARF about the Draco's and it has some good info and pics.

Hope this helps

From other discutions ive read it allready has the under folder trunion in them. It just needs the wholes in the reciever to for the underfolding to be attached.

"The Firing Line" in Wyandotte, OK are AK experts (they're the ones who run the big MG shoot up there every June). You may want to get them a quick call (ask for Mike Friend) and talk to 'em about it also (although some very helpful info has already been posted).
