I did some Googling but stopped when I got to the part about "so I bought Quicken Willmaker and set up a trust", etc. in disbelief.

I refuse to play this game. Thank you all though for answering my questions.

I think you're trying to convince yourself that the process is more difficult than it is.

It's not so much of the process as it is the principle. I'm thinking that the founding fathers did not intend us to buy Quicken Willmaker, pay a bunch of extra money, and wait months to shorten a rifle barrel by an inch and a half. Not getting down on those that have completed this asinine process but it just isn't for me.

Major or MAS can setup the trust for you. When I got mine done I had Major do all the paperwork and I just signed and filled out a few forms. Took about 10 minutes.
