NO REGISTRATION! When you show up at the shoot you will need to check in at the clubhouse just like any other range (THIS IS MANDATORY). Tell them that you are for the NFA day and they will direct you to our bay. If you want / need to purchase ammo from them you can do it then. Thant is it. Other then ammo it is a free day of fun!

I and my family will be there. I've told numerous others about it and expect we'll see a great turn out. I hope being the same day as the Swat event, that parking will be plentiful and crowds won't be a problem.

I asked in the GenDis thread, but never got an answer.

Asking here, because it will determine the participation of a couple of people I know who plan on attending.

Will all volunteers be certified? As in all RO/SOs are certified to be such? I know there are people here who have offered, but I just dont trust any swinging d*ck to be an RO/SO.

Sorry, I'm a little slow on answers lately but just answered to the other thread

The range will have all of their normal range safety people there. It is their house and we will follow their rules. What they will not handle is the handling / coordination of the event. I have a select number of people who are going to represent "US" in making the event flow better and safer. I think two of our people are certified RSO's and another was a former USN Gunners Mate certified in range safety while in the Navy. And at least one other is a conceal carry instructor.

The only thing I don't have is a police officer to come out. If you know of one who could donate time that would be great.

I'm sure that I'm overboard on people but I'd rather be overprepared then be short.

The event is a family event that will cater to anyone and everyone. as long an you come safe, happy and sober you are welcome. If you are trouble You will be out period!

I'm trying to put together some shirts for my helpers and maybe some extras to raffle off for money to donate to the site. If anyone on the site wants to take the ball and make them available to others who want one that would be great. Any screen printer on the board?

Ok, its was mainly the RSO positions I was concerned about. As long as USSA staff will be acting RSOs, I think that should be fine.

I have no silencers, never shot anything full-auto, and I've never been to USSA.

I am planning to attend this event, and hopefully will coerce some other southsiders to attend. Thank you for putting this together.

After talks with Tyromeo55, Maj, and USSA I have worked out providing some food for the event. The main purpose is to enrich the event I would really like to see a good turn out. Myself and staff will be in attendance providing samples from LXI and D'NOVO for 600ppl.

Currently thinking turkey meatballs from D'NOVO and maybe something bacon related from LXI. Open to suggestions of course.

Man! It's turned into a real party!

I can't wait. the only issue I might have will be my mother's health. If she ain't doing well, I ain't going to be there.
