I'm looking for a lease of maybe 1000+ acres. Primarily for deer, other hunting or fishing would be a plus. I'd like to have something in Northern Oklahoma, maybe around Lenapah or Copan area. That's what I keep hearing. We've got several hundred acres around the Peggs area that we own or lease and there are plenty of deer but we were wanting to try something different. Maybe get something BIG! We've never had just a hunting lease so I'm not even sure how you find one or any of the particulars.
It is hard to find that many acres together in most of the state.
start looking on Craigslist and in the Tulsa paper.just check their references thoroughly.
You may check out the Noble Foundation's website and look at their list of leases available. I haven't looked at it in a while, but in the past I have found some great deals on there on great leases. Noble Foundation is an outstanding organization that does a lot of good for rural folks.
