I don't see an optic section so I thought this would fit here. I am looking for a scope. I've looked through a bunch of scope already. Only Trijicon Accupoint stands out for me on how bright and clear I can see through those glasses. However, they're kinda expansive. I was wondering if there's any other kind of scope that are just as bright and clear as Trijicon Accupoint at about half the cost or am I dreaming? Or does anyone know where I can find Trijicon at really low price? The trijicon that I would like to get is either the 3-9X40 or 2.5-10X56. I wouldn't mind getting the 5-20X50 also. Thanks for the input.

I am in the same place my friend. Looking fro a good scope for the AR but not going to rob the kids college funds to do it.

I have a fixed 4X now and it works but my old eyes need more magnification sometimes. Probably don't need a "tactical" scope as I want to set this gun up for hog hunting in TX. I am struggling with a solution.

I have a 3x9x40 Leupold on the lever action 30-30 that is used for deer hunting. It is works perfectly but looks too big/long for the AR carbine.

I got a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18 for $280 at the last Wannenmacher. If you find the right deal you could probably get a Monarch even for $400 but maybe not the power you want. I'm very happy with my Buckmaster though.
