I think that all the aforementioned handguns are great. And I've owned several from the list. However, nothing can compare to the H&K USP (in my humble opinion, of course). Accurate, never misfires, never jams, simple construction, etc. All around a great gun.

I voted for the Browning Hi Power. The 1911 is great, but it's more of an American (nothing wrong with that of course) love affair than the rest of the world. If we are talking Greatest of All Time, the Hi Power is the most commonly copied handgun ever created.

My favorite off that list would be the Colt SAA, but as much as I love revolvers it's just not as great as the Hi Power.

Same comment for me except Springfield XDM 9mm. It eats everything. I have never had a misfire, no matter the ammo.
