Let's get together and see if we remember how to shoot some Steel Challenge. Sign in starts at 9:15 and shooters meeting starts at 10am. $15 to shoot, $10 for USSA members and $5 to shoot a second gun. Centerfire pistol, rimfire pistol and rimfire rifle will be recognized. 6 stages for a minimum of 150 rounds but I would bring at least 200.
See you there, Gary

Just a heads up about the match. I have moved and don't have internet at the house yet so the scores won't be up until Monday. The scores will be tallied at the match if you want to hang around for placement and trophies.

Obviosly there is not a larger than 22 rifle for the competition. I was just curious if there will be an opportunity to shoot my ar-15. Someone had bowling pins setup at the charity shoot for ar-15s. I mainly want to try mine cus they suposibly fixed the gas system and i have had no chance to see if it is.

No problems if there is no way just curious.

We had a blast today. Super hot but alot of fun. Our squad was the shizzle! You couldn't ask for a better group of guys to shoot with.
But, I'm officially giving up my slide tomorrow to get some new sights put on. I don't think it will be ready for either of the USPSA matches next weekend, but I really, DESPERATELY, need the new sights. I had to aim so high on some of the longer shots that I felt like i was shooting at the top of the berm.

Gotta love our squad.

Those little round steel targets at 25-35 yds. will certainly let you know if anything is off. I know the sights were frustrating. You and your son did a nice job w/ the rimfire, BTW. I'm in freaking love with that GSG-5. :rubhands:

I feel like Steel Challenge is going to work wonders for my USPSA game. It's also giving me an excuse to build a badass gun. :D

Like I said, you can shoot it at the next SC. We'll have some fun with it. I just have to fix one mag that's giving me fits. But with 24 rds per mag, you could easily go three runs without a reload.
