Don't worry about the Divisions. We'll keep everything Major for the purposes of the "contest."

Least points down wins. Time is irrelevant.

B/C - 1 down
D - 2 down
Miss - 15 down
No shoot/proc - 10 down
Each extra shot on steel - 1 down

I think Jesse had a different contest in mind... :)

But yeah, I'll probably go ahead and shoot L10 minor. Sounds like fun and I still have some minor ammo left over from the steel challenge match last weekend.

Does anyone know if there is any room left in the September class? I heard Phil talking about it on Saturday but I had to check the schedule and found I'm gtg if there's an opening left.

Just to verify, this is a Fri/Sat class (Sept 3&4)?

Yes there are slots left!!! and it is Fri Sat Sept 3-4.

We will do training on Fri and then shoot the match as a group on Sat, then shoot one of the stages agin to work on technique.

I will put a post up about the class soon..
Hope you can come!!!!

If you aren't willing to drive 2 hours for what I would consider some of the best pistol training (at a discount too) in the country then you are not serious about becoming a better shooter.

I would be willing to drive to Florida to train with a guy like Phil.

That would be 8 hours. Nonetheless, Phil is in Tulsa, I am in Tulsa; hopefully we get a class here at some point.
I've trained with Kelly Raglin and Jay Mackey, those guys seem to know what they are doing. However, driving 8 hours has little to do with how serious you are about becoming a better shooter. That's a pretty short sighted statement.

8 hours? Come on! I drive that some months just to shoot the USSA club matches. Jay and Kelly are great shooters and even better guys but Phil is a world class shooter with S&W on his shirt. 8 hours is nothing!

The drive only take me 1:45 minutes to get from USSA to OKCGC. So from Tulsa its only 1:30 depending on where you're at.

Boys, boys...there's plenty of me to go around! :naughty: OK, that was a bit gay...but it's different, not wrong....right Jesse?

I'm actually talking with USSA and Oil Capital about using their ranges to host a class. Once I get some solid pricing, I'll get something scheduled near the area.

As of right now, I've got 1 confirmed, 6 verbal commitments, and 3 openings. I'll be starting a wait list if it comes to that. If a verbally committed student doesn't get their deposit in by August 31st, we'll move to the wait list.
