Solicitors

These last few weeks have been terrible with solicitors. I'm going to find me a sign to put on my door tomorrow. Of course they just woke my wife and baby up from their nap with the banging like the police on the door. :angry3:

Man I hope they come by this weekend so I can scare them off. Too bad there's not a solicitor "do not call list".

Anyone else having a problem with these idiots?

We had a ton of solicitors after the May hail. Roofers from everywhere came to our area. I finally put up a "No Soliciting" :nono1:

sign for a while. It helped.

We live in the country and it is startling to have unexpected visitors. I have also noticed an increase in door to door salesmen over the last year. Luckily most have been cordial but we have had a few that were pushy and obnoxious. If a long gun is in direct view when you answer the door they tend to be a little nicer!

I stopped answering the door without an appointment. Been wanting to get a sign that says "appointments only" or "Girl Scouts only".

All telemarketers are told we only do these types of transactions "locally" and we never do business with strangers over the phone.

Seems like I'm getting more telemarketer calls these days. Need to make sure I'm still on the "do not call" list.

I can't not answer because they will stand there for like 10 minutes banging away if i don't. I can't believe these people had the nerve to say to my wife "why are you taking a nap....it's a nice day you should be out enjoying the weather."

If i was there i would have told them to mind their own*&%$#*& business..
