Exactly! I shot him at 6:55, out of the field and gutted by 8 checked in, washed, and hanging from my swingset by 8:30 skinned by 9:30 and still hanging wrapped in a tarp I went up to Kansas today for turkey day so I'm going to process him tomorrow. He ought to make some good brats, summer sausage, and jerky. Also, a good looking European mount.
I was hunting by myself on Friday with nothing but my video camera, so the first buck in the vid is the one I killed. Not as big as my muzzleloading buck, but a fairly nice buck. After the first buck on the vid, the rest were shot Friday evening when my buddy Rick was with me.
