Get farm diesel and use it. It may be dyed red but it works fine for a kerosene lamp or kerosene heater.
No odor,etc(for the most part)? I use a kerosene heater for the shop and buy it in Midwest City at Corner market(Reno/Westminster) for ~3.75 a gallon. Can I assume farm diesel is cheaper?
k1 is the best, cleanest. you can probably find it at gas stations cheaper than the 5 gallons at the hardware store. 3.75 sounds high, but i havent bought any in a year. its still cheaper than the $40 for what you buy at the hardware store.
Jet fuel is cheaper.
