I called 3 new spots today and all 3 goose eggs. I did kill a stupid yote today, he let us drive by and turn around, park, get out and sneak up over a small hill and i laid him out at 30 yards with my 7.62x39 AR

I went to Okmulgee WMA and didn't see any coyotes. I never even saw a rabbit or squirrel. Not sure if I did anything wrong or if there was anything there. I hunted for eight hours and used my rabbit in distress call. Any thoughts.

Bummer.! I thought for sure you'd atleast see something.

For some more info, you might check out Predator Masters Forum. That's a good forum that's a Gold mine full of information.

You might also check out the Snipers Hide Forum. They have some info every once in a while in their hunting threads.

PredatorMasters is just a whole lot of new people trading questions and answers that they picked up from other sources. All of the knowledgable people have been booted because they didn't like the new administrators methods or ideas and spoke up. A single post asking questions can get you banned at PM. Trust me, I know, along with about 200 other guys.

If you want advice from experienced Predator Hunters, there are MANY better sources out there, some of them are even based in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. You just have to look for them.

Those will keep you busy for awhile. I agree with JHolly. PM is a shell of what it once was and what it could be. The blatant commercial interests of those who run it now has driven a lot of the best guys away.
I'd encourage those of you interested to join OPHA. They are the local go-to guys for predator hunting in Oklahoma.

I tried five different stands with no luck. I stayed put for at least 45 minutes. Also, I thought maybe it could be the way I was calling. I started calling and stopped for a minute and then resumed, and continued to do this. I believe that my camo was sufficient enough; however the wind was being kind of funky. I thought I was setting up in good spots, but I didn't even get a glimpse of a coyote.

Don't get bummed, just because you didn't see them doesn't mean they weren't there. Sometimes they can be sneaky, you've just got to keep trying.
