+1 for Steve @ Wetpets, he's the only one I used in the OKC/Norman area when I lived there but I'm a saltwater junkie. :D I think he mostly did Cichlids for freshwater.

Try Josette's in north OKC, they were a really good place back when I was keeping aquariums (both freshwater & saltwater).

They closed down.

Another mention of Steve at Wetpets in Norman. Good quality livestock and tanks.

There is also a great shop in Edmond. Aquariums of Edmond. Run by a nice lady and her husband. Good selection of fresh and sw livestock. They can likely order any tank. http://www.okcfishlady.com/

Lastly, I know Gary Walker very well. He owns Aquatic Resources Technology. Has built many local aquariums and takes care of many of them too. Such as the Zoo, Bass Pro, Remington Park and others. He is a good source for custom tanks and all sorts of goodies.

We have a local distributor here in okc that only retailers are allowed to enter. Down on the south side, the fish selection is amazing. Might be able to find someone to let you tag along. :yelclap:

+1, Leigh Ann is awesome. I've dealt with her for years. This is where I'll be going when I start my 260 gallon saltwater reef tank.

There's one around the corner from H&H. I haven't the foggiest idea how nice it is I just know I've seen it when I went by.

Good selection, but I've had bad luck there. It's called the Reef Shop.

Another vote for Aquariums at 15th and Kelly (in that shopping center just south of Lottinville's). The lady I've dealt with there seems really nice and educated on the subject. I bought my bristlenose plecos there. It's a small shop, but she said she can get anything I need.

I've heard good things about a shop in Norman, most likely the one mentioned several times above me, from a buddy of mine who does SW.

As far as tanks go, even with shipping you might find your best deal online.

I work at wet pets in Norman. We probably have the best fish selection around, and they are the best quality you will find. If we don't have it I. The store we can get it so long as our suppliers have them.

We also do custom tank orders, and tank maintainence if you are interested. If you have any questions call us at the store 405-701-5530.

Hours are Mon - Fri 10-7 Sat 10 - 6 Sun 12 - 6

Tanksalot at Reno and Czech Hall Road.

He has a single-owner small shop, but knows his stuff and does tank maintenance around town.

Been there...

If you're seriously into saltwater fish keeping you'll walk in, look around and probably leave without having purchased anything. Tanks are not well kept, the place smells and IMO the prices are on the high side.
