I'm with you. I've climbed a 400' Microwave tower in high winds in a free climb to repair a wave guide channel on a 9000' mountain while in the military, and currently have to go up on a 500' stack to do emissions equipment calibrations while the stack is swaying in the wind. I'm Ok with that, but any "circus/fair/amusement ride is terrifying to me..
I guess it came from hearing about 2 people dying over the years at the local county fair riding the rides when I was a kid or something. Don't know.
