The fire sprinkler in my office leaked over the weekend. Maintenance has an industrial squirrel cage fan drying the carpet in my office.

Windy outside. Windy inside.

I'm glad I'm not the only one tired of the constant blowing. My house sits back away from everything but 3 other houses, so it's a damn wind tunnel in our yard. It was gusting so hard the other night, my little dog struggled to stay upright while she squatted to take care of her business.

I had to spend about two hours at the Devon Tower today. I feel like I ate 2 lbs of dirt and have 3lbs in my eyes and ears. I hope it does not do this all week.

I have been here 10 years now and the wind still irritates the fire out of me. I've tried to accept it but it just doesn't seem right, a windy a day in most places means a rough day at the golf course a windy day in the state of Oklahoma means your stuff is going to get torn up....wind isn't supposed to be deconstructive, it's wind!

+1 to the panhandlers - I end up out around Guymon relatively frequently and there is no doubt they get it worse.

Swaping out equipment and picking up some stuff we had down there. I am down there about 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes more. I will be glad when they are done.

I only see it from the interstate while going south on 235 on my way to work and try to make a mental note of how tall it is at the end of each month in comparison to the Chase tower. Do you have any idea how much higher they have to go? I can't remember exact specs, but I know it's supposed to be about twice as high as the Chase tower. From 235, it looks like they're maybe 60% or so to that goal. Is that about right?

I think they just started working on the 39th floor. It is going to be 51 floors when they are done. The goal was to start a floor every 8 days. I think they are sticking to it. The park and Crystal Bridge are comming along good. They have the grass down on about 1/2 of it. They are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
