Yesterday morning started with alot of gobbleing from the roost. It ended up as the one morning the birds didn't follow their normal pattern. They instead hopped straight down out of the roost and proceeded to put on a great show (for the hens they had with them), but on the other side of an open area I was set up on. Finally around 8:30am something was said that they either really liked or didn't like at all because they came in (running in). This bird is not by any means the "biggest" I have taken but it sure was a fun hunt. I am having him mounted. Mainly because I love looking at a strutting tom. Hows everyone else's luck going? I might try to get on em' again next weekend depending on the weather.

Sorry about the link: I cant get my pics to attach (because I am dumb)

Good job. This morning two were gobbling on the roost just about 45-50 yards from us. But there were NOT cutting off my soft "roost yelps" - no interest at all - they were only gobbling in response to crows and barred owls. Flew down opposite direction and it was all over by 6:55; nothing.

Got it for ya. You can do it yourself, but clicking on the bottom window when you hover over the pic with your mouse. It will automatically copy it with the tags on it, so the pic will show up on the page.

That is so awesome! I've been trying to get one off and on with my compound the last couple years to no avail and you nail one with a longbow! Were you in a pop up blind or brushed in or did you pull it off in the open?
