Looking for a sparring partner - NW OKC

I am 31, 6'-2", 200lbs.

I would like to start sparring with head gear and 16oz gloves.

I don't have any real experience but I'm in decent shape.

I am looking for someone who is somewhat athletic and mature. I'm not looking for someone to beat me up. Just someone who is looking for a workout and to improve their head movement and ability to throw a punch. I would go to an MMA gym but I don't feel like I'm good enough to justify paying for a membership and my time is limited also.

man, to bad u dont live more towards the lawton area. i lift weights and hit the bag a lot, but none of my friends ever want to spar. my brother lives in the tulsa/muskogee area and he trains a lot there and would also be more than willing, but ur right smack dab in the middle of us, lol. its definitely a good workout and im wore out after just a few minutes of hitting the bag.

Yeah, I don't know why no one is ever interested. I ask my friends and they act like they want to but will never go and buy gloves and headgear. Maybe I should just go to an MMA gym.

What type of sparring are we talking about? Boxing?

Yes. Just light sparring boxing style with gloves and headgear. Nothing serious. Just something to improve head movement and cardiovascular conditioning.

Me and my buds would always get together to spar. its been a couple months tho everyone been busy. not to mention my bud who would always push me to box is getting married.

I have gloves and headgear. i have been out of condition for a while tho. im not as tall as you but i have boxed some pretty big people.

ill try asking some of my buds this weekend to see if they feeling froggy.

Yeah, it doesn't matter to me if someone is my size or not. I have no skills or training anyway. Just want the workout etc. Here is my number again.
