Fun story, but I raise the B.S. flag. The Westboro nuts thrive on lawsuits...they'd be suing the crap out of the PD for hauling folks in on bogus charges, amongst other things.

Notice the the source for this report is an "Ole Miss Message Board". Not what you'd call a credible source.

Humorous but the slight against democrats was uncalled for. Calling Hitler a good representation of brown haired people is just as asinine as calling him a "democrat activist". Going to mirror SMS' sentiments too.

I also would like to see civil discourse amongst ourselves instead of automatically reverting to "I'm gonna punch those words right out of your mouth!" Don't get me wrong, I have the same feeling towards those idiots as the rest of us, but we really don't do anyone any favors by reacting exactly how they want us to.

According to the story, they didn't haul anyone in on bogus charges. They simply brought them downtown for questioning about a crime. The story didnt say exactly what crime but it was likely the beat down. Nothing illegal about that.
