I checked with Larry at L&L Machine Guns regarding SBRing my Draco with an underfolder and he suggested I just buy a Krink. He said it would be less expensive in the long run. Apparently there is alot more work involved in it than just drilling some holes. He told me it could cost upwards of $800, especially with a side folder. He also warned against having someone hack on it if they didn't really know what they were doing. He's seen guns basically rendered useless by inexperienced/unknowledgable gunsmiths. With that in mind, I still want to move forward with SBRing my Draco. The way I look at it is if I wanted a Krink, i'd have bought a Krink. I wanted the Draco and that's what I want to SBR. Just my $.02.

Uh, Ace folding stock?

-Form 1
-Engrave
-Drill holes in back of existing trunnion
-Tap holes for mounting screws
-Screw Ace mounting block on
-Attach stock

Can you use a hand drill and turn a tap?

Oooo-kay. For $800, you can chop your Draco receiver in 3 pieces, and have the SBR built, ground-up on a Nodakspud receiver. If you're wanting a triangle folder, with the special receiver (cuts), yeah, I can see that.

Otherwise, for +/-$300 you should be able to get a replacement rear trunion (installed) in your CAI receiver, and a Romy or ACE stock.

Dunno how thick the Draco butt-blank is, D&T-ing that might not be sturdy enough.

Yeah, Rob, that's what I thought. I got the feeling that he didn't really want to do the job. I agree with you on the side folder and the strength of the butt-blank but i'm wanting an underfolder, not a side folder. I've been told that the Draco-C receiver was compatible with an underfolder and that it's really not that tough a job. Anyone know if S&H Arms in Owasso would be willing to help me out on this?
